Melanie Richard’s Hair & Beauty is an independent, family-run business offering top quality haircuts, hair colouring and colour correction, extensions and smoothing services. In 2019 the business expanded to include a large beauty salon offering the full Elemis beauty range, plus waxing, eyelash treatments, and more with additional space for hairdressing.

Melanie Richard’s prides itself on the level of service offered to customers and was awarded the Great Lengths Gold Salon Status, the only salon with this recognition within a 40-mile radius of Peterborough.

The Receptionist Role

Our receptionist is crucial to our success, as the first point of contact with our clients, both face to face and over the phone. As a receptionist you are the oil in our machine, making sure that everything runs like clockwork every day, freeing the stylists and therapists to concentrate on the needs of their clients.

Specifics of the role

– Assist with social media posts
– Maintaining stock levels and completing the weekly stock check
– Request & accurately record client information
– Ensure all skin testing conditions are met on time
– Greeting and looking after clients who visit us
– Upselling our services
– Ensuring salon cleanliness & hygiene standards are met
