What Is Involved In My HD Brow Service?
Your HD Brow service at Melanie Richard’s Hair & Beauty Salon in Peterborough will start with an in-depth consultation. Once your custom blended shade has been decided we will apply a tint around the brow area which allows us to pick up any fair and fluffy hairs. Next, your HD stylist will shape your eyebrow through waxing before threading any stray unwanted hairs. If necessary, your stylist will tweeze any stray hairs. They will then give you lots of useful aftercare advice and top tips on how to keep your beautiful new brows looking tip top!

How Long Will HD Brows Last?

The length of time your results will last depends on how quickly your hair grows back and how well your hair holds colour. On average you will need them done every 4 - 8 weeks.
What’s The Difference Between HD Brows & An Eyebrow Tint & Wax?
Whilst tinting your eyebrows is super quick and an effective way to brighten and enhance your eyes without having to apply make-up, HD Brows involves using a higher pigmentated tint which lasts longer than traditional eyebrow tints.
Skin Testing Policy
Please note: we are a colour responsible salon. You will require a simple patch test at least 48 hours before any perming, tinting or lash extension treatment. This is to ensure you do not have any adverse reactions to the products we use. It can not be done more than 5 days before your hair colour appointment.
The skin test will also need to be carried out again: Every 6 months, if it is more than 6 months since your last colour if you have had a tattoo, henna tattoo or permanent make-up since your last colour. Alternatively, we have colourstart patches that we can post out for skin testing. These cost £15 & you will need to download an app to register your test. Full details here.
