Some of the team from Melanie Richard’s Hair Salon in Peterborough were thrilled to recently spend the day at the prestigious Not Another Salon training academy in London that specialises in colour. Headed up by Sophia Hilton, Not Another Salon is a hairdressers with a difference and say they can create any colour you want.
The team was taught the newest, creative colouring trends to create striking looks and techniques to ensure they are ready to deliver your next transformation. They learned lots of new skills and feel truly inspired which will help to elevate future looks for all our clients.
We love how their company ethos mirrors our own and agree that healthy hair is better than any colour. They too prioritise the condition and integrity of your hair before carrying out any changes – no matter how big or small the transformation.

Skin Testing
Please note: we are a colour responsible salon. A skin sensitivity test must be carried out at least 48 hours before any colour that will touch the scalp to protect you from a reaction to the colour. It can not be done more than 5 days before your hair colour appointment.
The skin test will also need to be carried out every 6 months. If it is more than 6 months since your last colour if you have had a tattoo, henna tattoo or permanent make-up since your last colour. Alternatively, you can purchase Skin Patch Test Kits. They cost £5.
We will send an email reminder if it is more than 6 months since your last test with us a week before your appointment.
