Evie Wins DIVA Next Gen Styling Competition 2026
We’re incredibly proud of our Apprentice, Evie, who has been selected as a DIVA Next Gen Winner and will be showcasing her styling skills live at Salon International in London.
The DIVA Next Gen competition, run by DIVA Pro Styling, was created to allow talented student and emerging stylists to put their creativity in the spotlight and showcase their work to the professional hair industry.
For her entry, Evie was challenged to create a style that demonstrated her creativity and styling ability. Entrants were asked to submit before and after photographs alongside a video showing the process behind their transformation.
Evie decided to step outside her comfort zone and create an intricate updo – a style she admits she hasn't always felt the most confident with. With some encouragement from Salon Owner Melanie, Evie took the opportunity to give it a go. Her finished creation impressed the judging panel and saw her selected as one of the three DIVA Next Gen Winners.
It’s a brilliant achievement for an apprentice who is still developing her skills and gaining experience within the salon industry.
A Chance to Showcase Her Skills on Stage
As one of the three winners, Evie has been given an exclusive stage slot at Salon International, where she’ll have the opportunity to showcase her styling skills live in front of the professional hair industry. She’ll also receive her own DIVA Pro Styling professional kit, along with valuable PR and industry exposure.
For Evie, it’s an exciting opportunity to take everything she’s been learning in the salon and put it into practice on a much bigger stage.
