Hello, I’m Lorna, Creative Director at Melanie Richards Hair & Beauty.
Alongside my creative role, I also manage stock control, helping to ensure the salon runs smoothly behind the scenes. I’ve previously owned my own salon and lived abroad, which has given me a wealth of experience that I now bring to the Melanie Richards team.
My true passion in hairdressing is supporting women experiencing menopause-related hair changes and fine hair. I love helping to restore confidence by creating hair that feels thicker, fuller, and healthier. I achieve this through tailored solutions using Great Lengths hair extensions, alongside expert guidance on the supplements we offer. If you’re struggling with menopause hair, I’m very much here for you.
I specialise in short haircuts and love creating strong, stylish looks for both men and women — and I’m proudly known in the salon for my signature bob cuts! That said, I enjoy cutting hair of all lengths and shapes, and I’m always excited to meet new clients and help turn their hair goals into reality.
I’m friendly, confident, and genuinely love helping people feel their very best. Outside of the salon, I enjoy spending time with my children, discovering new places to eat (I’m a real foodie!), and enjoying the finer luxuries in life while embracing new experiences.
