Meet Melanie…

Melanie is our resident Wella Master Colour Expert and is a Gold-awarded Great Lengths Extensions Specialist with a vast amount of experience within the hairdressing industry. Mel has been a member of the ghd art team, been on stage at Salon International and was mentored by the amazing Akin Konizi for a year. Mel has also worked at many prestigious industry shows such as London Fashion Week.

Our Salon Director also spent some time working as an educator for a large intentional company, providing salons with the latest education in cutting and colour. Melanie has undergone lots of training, including; Vidal Sasson, Hob, Wella, L’Oreal, Paul Mitchell Gathering, Great Lengths Hair Extensions and ghd.

What’s your go-to product?

The Moroccanoil Treatment because it tames the hair, increases moisture and adds incredible shine!

Who has your favourite celebrity hair?

Too hard to answer! I just love Elle Goulding, Sienna Miller and Kylie Jenner – they always look immaculate, sexy hair with an effortless undone feel.

What inspires your sense of style?

Anything that All Saints sell!

What three words best describe you?

Innovative, engaging and positive.

What are your favourite things in hairdressing?

My favourite things in hairdressing are colouring and hair extensions.

Meet Richard…

Salon Director Richard drives forward our salon vision, having successfully managed and grown salons for an International group in the past. He has worked on various fashion shoots both locally and in London, and has trained in precision cutting at Vidal Sassoon.

Whilst Richard can often be seen working with clients in the salon creating amazing looks, he can also be found coaching other salons with Fantastic Hairdresser. This collaboration helps salons to grow and perfect their businesses. Not only does he coach and educate other salon owners, Richard is the driving force behind the education of our Hairdressing Apprentices.

What’s your go-to product?

Aveda’s Invati Thickening Foam is lightweight but still has hold.

Name a Celebrity that inspires you

Billie Eilish. She’s not afraid to be unique despite society’s views and trends.

Who or what inspires your sense of style?

Music and magazines.

What three words best describe you?

Perfectionist, visionary, unstoppable!

What are your favourite aspects of hairdressing?

I love cutting! I also really enjoy transforming clients’ hair with the incredible Fabriq smoothing service that we offer.

What’s your go-to product?

My favourite product is the botanical repair range. The strengthening overnight serum strengthens hair builds bonds while you sleep. Reduces frizz, protects against heat and UV rays.

Who has your favourite celebrity hair?

Claudia Winkleman. She has the most fantastic, shiny hair! I like Tess Daly’s hair too.

What inspires your sense of style?

Everything! I love flicking through magazines and seeing what’s hot on the cat walk and then I use the Highstreet shops to put my own spin on it!

What three words best describe you?

Happy, caring, funny

What are your favourite things in hairdressing?

I specialise in short cuts, however, I love all styles from modern to contemporary, fashion looks and short choppy crops, to colours and perms! I like to transform hair using Great Lengths Extensions too. 

Meet Honor…

Honor is a Creative Director and she can not wait to get creative with your hair! She is also a certified Great Lengths Extensions Specialist.

What’s your go to product?

My go to product would have to be the Great Lengths range! But my most favourite product in the world is the Aveda Overnight Repair serum in Nutriplenish, it makes everybody’s hair feel lush!

Favourite celebrity hair?

Jennifer Lopez – her hair always looks sexy either short or long.

Who or what inspires your sense of style?

Grace Beverly, her fashion and brands are dreamy!

Positive, enthusiastic, creative.

What’s your go-to product?

My go-to products are definitely the Aveda smooth infusion range ! It’s perfect for reducing frizz and creating a smooth look.

Who has your favourite celebrity hair?

Kim Kardashian’s hair always looks perfectly sleek and polished.

Who or what inspires your sense of style?

Molly Mae always inspires me because she always looks trendy.

What three words best describe you?

Welcoming, funny, passionate.

What are your favourite things about hairdressing?

I love blondes, blowdries and making clients feel amazing about their hair.

Meet Francesca…

What’s your go-to product?

I love the Aveda Texture Tonic, it gives great volume and texture to the hair without it feeling heavy or tacky. I also love Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum. It leaves my hair feeling silky smooth and even helps to blow dry hair quicker!

Who has your favourite celebrity hair?

I love Hayden Panettiere’s pink and green watermelon combo, as well as Meghan Fox’s bold cherry bob. I love how bright they are and a complete 180 from their typical look.

Who or what inspires your sense of style?

I take inspiration for my style from Miley Cyrus, Stevie Nicks, 80s TV shows and 70’s music. an eclectic combination with a dash of pop culture sprinkled in!

What three words best describe you?

Observant, creative, adventurous.

What are your favourite things about hairdressing?

Vibrant colours – from a flash of something bright to a full on rainbow – I love it!

Colour transformations – from bright blonde to rich coppers, soft browns and vibrant reds, I can get on board with them all!

Updos – I also really enjoy updos especially when it is something fun for prom or a wedding.

What’s your go-to product?

The Aveda Smooth Infusion perfect blow dry. It smoothes my frizz and leaves my hair feeling so healthy. 

Who has your favourite celebrity hair?

Kim Kardashian for sure! Her hair is constantly changing and keeping up with trends and it always looks so voluminous and healthy!

Who or what inspires your sense of style?

Molly-Mae Hague. She always looks so modern and comfortable!

What three words best describe you?

Passionate. Adventurous. Enthusiastic.

What are your favourite things about hairdressing?

Creating lived-in looks, balayage and classic layered hairstyles that add movement to the hair.

My go to product is Great Lengths hair serum because it keeps my extensions super soft and shiny.

Khloe Kardashian because her hair is so sleek and healthy.
